Your three calls today
- James Lowe, COO, Arcwell Logistics
Started a new role 3 weeks ago. New leaders rebuild their teams early, and he often inherits the hiring.
Open with"Congratulations on the move. Most people I speak to in your first 90 days are deciding who stays and who joins."
- Sara Khan, HR Director, Meridian Gulf
Meridian Gulf posted 3 new RM roles this week, and you last spoke 7 months ago.
Open with"I saw the three RM roles go up. Happy to send you two people I'd call first."
- Lina Haddad, Head of Talent, Falcon Crest
A client who has hired through you before, and you haven't spoken in 9 months.
Open with"It's been a while, so I wanted to check in before your next round of hiring starts."
Call before you email. The email can follow the call.
That's three calls from 20 names. I do this every morning across your whole network, your inbox and the news at the companies you know.
How the call list is ranked.
Four things decide the order. They're fixed rules, not AI, and every result shows its reason, so you can disagree with me.
A new job
People who started a new role recently are rebuilding their world, and they often inherit the hiring. They rank highest.
Company news
A funding round, a new senior appointment or new roles on the careers page usually means hiring is coming.
How well you know them
A client who has hired through you, or a candidate you placed, ranks above a cold connection.
When you last spoke
The best window is several months to a year since your last conversation. If you spoke last week, they drop down the list.
Three is a list you finish.
A list of thirty becomes a list of none by Thursday. Three calls, in order, with a reason and an opening line, is a morning's work you'll get through. Do the three, then go back to the delivery.
Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
- The tool runs entirely in your browser
- No sign-up, no account and nothing stored
- Close or refresh the tab and your list is gone
- Your LinkedIn file is read on your own computer and never uploaded
Three calls from 20 names. Now picture your whole network.
Before launch, Michael ran his own LinkedIn export through Annie. It found 1,429 senior contacts he had never once called.
Annie, the full version, reads your whole network, your inbox and the news at every company you know, and sends you a ranked call list at 09:00 every morning. Each name comes with the reason, the source and an opening line. It's a recruitment CRM too, with your candidates, jobs, shortlists and invoices on the same desk.
No credit card. $129 a month or $1,290 a year after the trial.
Questions about the tool
Is this recruiter call list tool free?
Yes. No sign-up, no card and no limit on how often you use it.
Is my contact data stored anywhere?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing. Close or refresh the tab and it's gone.
What file can I upload?
A CSV, such as the Connections.csv file in your LinkedIn export. You can also paste rows, one person per line: name, job title, company.
How do I export my LinkedIn connections?
In LinkedIn, go to Settings, then Data privacy, then Get a copy of your data, and pick Connections only. LinkedIn emails you a zip, often within 10 minutes. The Connections.csv file is inside.
How does it decide the order?
It weighs four things: a recent job change, company news, how well you know the person, and how long since you last spoke. Every result shows its reason.
Does it use AI?
No. It uses fixed rules, so the same list always gives the same order, and you can see why.
Is this the same as Annie?
It's a small free version of one Annie feature. Annie ranks your whole network every morning, using your inbox and live company news, and runs the rest of your desk too.
I already use another recruitment CRM. Why Annie?
Most CRMs store your desk and wait for you to search it. Annie tells you who to call each day and why. It's $129 a month or $1,290 a year, with a 10-day free trial and no credit card.
